Jennifer Jones, PMHNP-BC
Jennifer W. Jones is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She graduated from University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2014 where she completed the rigorous Psychiatric program to include 2 years of clinical training with extensive education on psychopharmacology. She graduated with a Masters in Nursing specializing in psychiatry.
She started her outpatient career in 2014 at Alexandria Solutions. During this time, she has also provided 9 years of medication management in the acute inpatient setting treating children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. She has also provided inpatient and outpatient mental health services at Hardtner Medical Center since 2015. Her goal is to listen to each patient and take an individual treatment approach, providing patient-centered care while considering the unique needs of each individual to include symptom complex, medical complexities, and patient goals. Specialties include medication management for the treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD (ages 4 and up), and geri-psych. She also provides in-office Spravato treatments for treatment-resistant depression when this approach is needed. She believes including the patient in discussing their treatment options is important in achieving successful outcomes.
